Settle in for a cozy evening of creativity at the Banff Christmas Market and create your own beautiful holiday greenery.
Marika Styba, a classically trained florist with 31 years of experience, will share her professional tips and techniques for creating winter décor with stunning curb appeal.
During this guided holiday swag-making workshop, guests will be led step by step through the process of designing a festive seasonal door swag to take home and enjoy throughout the holidays.
No previous experience working with fresh greens is required, just bring your holiday spirit and enjoy a relaxed evening of creating, sipping, and celebrating!

Christmas Card-Making Workshop

Settle in for a cozy evening of creativity at the Banff Christmas Market and create your own collection of beautiful handmade Christmas cards.
Mary Schatz was a teacher for 34 years and has long been a passionate scrapbooker, crafter, and card maker. Mary will share her favorite tips and techniques to help you create personal, heartfelt cards with your own special touch – perfect for sharing with the special people in your life. During this relaxed, guided workshop, we’ll create at least three festive cards using a variety of techniques with paper, ink and stamps. You’ll be led step by step through each project, so no previous crafting experience is necessary—just bring your holiday spirit and a willingness to try something new!
All materials will be provided and shared among the group. You don’t need to bring anything, but if you have a paper trimmer, scissors or a stamping tool, please feel free to bring them along – having a few extras will help keep everyone creating.
Come spend a cozy evening crafting, sipping and celebrating the season while making something special to take home and share with family and friends.

Before you say goodbye, Santa will send your family home with a very special keepsake — a signed copy of The Night Before Christmas to enjoy together for years to come.

Cookie Decorating with Mrs. Claus

Location: Whoville KidZone
Join Mrs. Claus in the Whoville KidZone for a sweet and festive Christmas experience!
Little bakers will decorate 3 Christmas cookies with colourful icing, sprinkles and plenty of holiday cheer. Mrs. Claus will be there to help inspire their creations, and once the decorating is done, each child will receive a take-home box for their cookies.
All supplies are provided — just bring your Christmas spirit and get ready to decorate!
