The Banff Christmas Market is a cherished holiday tradition inspired by the charm of European festive markets and enriched by the spirit of the Bow Valley. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Canadian Rockies, it’s a celebration of seasonal sights, sounds, and flavours.

Explore stalls with handmade goods, enjoy mulled wine and pretzels, and take in live entertainment. During the day, it’s a welcoming spot for families, and in the evening, it offers a relaxed atmosphere for adults.

Blending timeless tradition with local culture, the Banff Christmas Market is the perfect place to shop, dine, and soak up the magic of the season.

Our Team

The Banff Christmas Market is proudly owned and operated by a dedicated team of local Banff women. Founded in 2014 by Jolene Brewster with just 25 vendors, it has grown into a holiday festival spanning four weekends with over 200 vendors. Joined by Hayley Mulhern in 2018, and supported by Mary Brewster and Siobhan Moran, this hardworking team works year-round to bring the holiday spirit to life. You’ll often see them at the Market (sometimes with their kids!), so don’t hesitate to say hello and share your feedback, it helps make the Market better every year!
